Dan, the subject to the great love of all of our clients, is often mentioned
in testimonials and has even been known to receive postcards from customers on
holiday.
Dan's job is to oversee the technical development,
implementation and day-to-day operations of the company. His amazing ability to
be both technically-aware and friendly (something which you rarely find in
techies) has secured him a well-deserved reputation.
His technical
interests include networking, hardware, machine building, IT troubleshooting, PHP, .NET, ASP.Net
and C++. His outside interests mainly include socialising and seeing his
girlfriend (sorry girls - he's taken).
Liam is responsible for the day-to-day operations and strategic planning of
the company, alongside being accountable for its profitability and customer
service levels. He also maintains the content for this web site, and can often
be seen hatching evil plans to take over the world (at least, on a very limited
scale).
He's been affectionately known, to his annoyance and confusion as
to the reason why, since day one as 'goose', and of late, 'mother goose'. This
is the result of some sort of nonsensical rambling of his business partner and
friend, Dan.
He's studying for a degree in Counselling Psychology, and
his outside interests include socialising (going out on the razz - if you are to
see him, he'll have a Vesper Martini), writing poetry (although he's really
terrible at it), reading, politics, political history, medicine and other boring
subjects. He also loves watching Dexter and House M.D.
Ross' job at the firm goes hand-in-hand with Liam's, but he's also an
Account Manager on top of being involved in the technical work of the company
too. He's well-renowned for sleeping only three to four times per week, and his
somewhat innate geekiness (the other day he told us he was composing music using
statistical analysis and Markov chains).
Ross has been with us since
September 2008, and he's yet to make a nickname for himself, which, considering
the rest of ours, is probably a good thing.
His interests
include software development, web development, statistics, spending time with his partner and being a social recluse (it takes dedication).
He also has an unnatural love for balsamic vinegar and Stephen Fry. To
what might not surprise you, he's studying for a degree in Computer Science.
Alex's job goes hand-in-hand with our call-out support service, iFuse Connect,
but is also known for his work on managing our servers alongside Dan. He is also
renowned for his very odd voice (and therefore is not often caught on the
phone). His nickname derives from the fact that he's hairy and has a well-fed
exterior.
His technical interests include computer hardware, networking,
conceptual technologies, artificial intelligence, cybernetics and
bioengineering. However, he somehow manages to find time for martial arts,
weight lifting and socialising.
An interesting fact about Alex is that he
recently had a minor bump in his car (I say minor, it was a complete write-off),
claiming that the 'sun was in his eyes', and shortly after smashed straight into
the back of a Clio.
Dave, beloved by all the clients of which accounts he manages, joined the
team as a junior sales executive earlier this year. As an Apple enthusiast, he
is often the butt of many jokes from Dan.
His technical interests include
openSUSE, C++ and Objective C, and the iPhone (Dave's possession of an iPhone is
the object of Liam's disdain, who has to wait for his current contract to
expire. Further update: Liam has discovered the magic object that is a
Blackberry Curve 8900 and now no longer wants an iPhone.)
His outside interests include cooking, driving and socialising.
